Are you a newly graduated or early-career allied health professional ready to make a real difference in people's lives? MindSpot Clinic, as part of Macquarie University Health, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Health Professionals – Therapist (Psychologists, Social workers, Nurses, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists) to deliver exceptional mental healthcare services to Australian patients via digital omni-channels e.g., telephone and secure messaging including psychological assessment, treatments, and referrals (where applicable).

You will be at the forefront of conducting clinical assessments and providing treatments to patients in Western Australia (WA) from our virtual clinic based in Perth. You will be rostered to work 8 hours on a permanent roster which would include mostly day shifts.

Mindspot is looking to grow in the Perth, WA, with this role focused on providing services to patients in this area.

About the Role

In this early-career clinical position, you will deliver allied health services under the guidance and supervision of experienced clinicians within a supportive, structured framework. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical assessment, treatment and management across a caseload appropriate to your discipline and level of experience, under supervision as required.
  • Delivering safe, effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions in line with best-practice guidelines and organisational policies.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and Macquarie University Health requirements.
  • Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences and collaborative care planning to support holistic patient outcomes.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities, clinical audits and service development initiatives within your team.
  • Engaging in structured professional development, supervision and mentoring programs to build your clinical competence and professional growth.
  • Supporting the student learning environment by contributing to the supervision and education of allied health students where appropriate.
  • Upholding all relevant professional, ethical and regulatory standards, including mandatory reporting obligations and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

You are a motivated and enthusiastic early-career allied health professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in allied health – psychology, occupational therapy, nursing, social work, or any related disciplines with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

    (AHPRA) or any relevant registration body.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in providing mental healthcare services across a range of contexts and populations. Digital mental health service is highly regarded.
  • Experience in delivering CBT treatment, risk assessments and intervention.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills in both verbal and written contexts.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement with a focus on evidence-based and patient-centered clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple digital tools e.g. Outlook, MS Teams, Electronic Software Platform
  • Ability to manage and prioritizes workloads within established routines, methods and procedures.
  • Ability to collaboratively work within multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated teamwork with exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
